Default Seat Memory doesn't remember too well

This happen to anyone? My seat returns to a different position than programmed--intermittently but lately more often--and I use the same fob and/or push the same button as the one that it was programmed with. Any help?

I posted in C5 Tech, first, but got no responses......this doesn't happen to anyone else??

Happens to me! Seems to have a mind of it's own....so I programmed 1, and 2 for the same position. Always use key#1 and some times it makes the adjustment and pressing the memory button at times or repeat press at times or I just #2 memory button that seems to always work unlike #1!!!

Mine too. This drives me crazy as it always wants to go to Memory 2 position (wifes preset) versus Memory 1 (my preset). I'm a lot taller than my wife so this is very uncomfortable when I try to get into the car with the car not in the right position.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the Window Valet? Do others that have a seat memory problem also have the Window Valet?
Just my thoughts...

Also have it intermittently. Turning the memory feature off for a couple of ignition cycles seems to help.

I had a 99 Vert with Window Valet, and rarely had a problem. I moved it to a 2002, and had the same problems with the memory that you had.
Window Valet on both---Which is real and which is Memorex?( You have to be a certain age to catch that one! )

Yup, mine has occasional Alzheimer’s also, along with my radio presets. Funny thing is that they come back without having to re-program them...

I have the window valet and have not had that problem. When I exit the car the seat goes all the way back and the steering wheel moves back toward the dash. I think it's called easy exit feature or something like that. On occasion when I've entered the car it will not move into my position, #1 unless I hit the button on the door, but it never goes to memory #2 with Fob 1.
