Same here, both previous owners were older guys. When I got the car it was stock with the addition of chromed Alcoa Z Wheels the original selling dealer put on before it sold. It had only 12k miles on it when I got it in May 05. It has 17k now, and not so stock anymore

I looked at the Carfax on mine when I got it. The original owner traded it in at a dealership in Memphis. Memphis dealer trades with dealer in Knoxville. I buy car from dealer in Knoxville.
Bought it from a vette dealer who told me the previous owner was a doctor that felt is more car then he wanted 1400 miles on it
I heard almost the same story, didn't believe a word of it. About 4 months later at a local car show, I met the doctor and his wife, but their version of the story was a little different, SHE made him get rid of it.

2nd owner here..........1st owner (60yr old guy)had the car for 3 months and 450 miles, he traded it back in on a new truck because he "missed going camping" dealer had the car for a year and owner of dealership put another 900 and change driving it back and forth to work from home over the course of the year he had it. Car was originaly purchased Sept. 2003 for $52K.....I got it March of 2005 with 1,404 miles on it for $38k...........I even got to back it out of the show room floor
When I got it the bank asked if I wanted to borrow more as the cars loan value at the time was $42,500.... "No thanks my payment is high enough."
Made the deal over the phone sight unseen on the day I was suposed to buy a silver 2003 with 16k on it for $37
I'm one of many. But know the last two owners who are both in their 60's.
I didn't care really, my best friends step dad owned the car for the majority of the miles and he told me everything about it so there where no surprises.
I guess it might look suspicious if I ever try to sell the car, but the car really speaks for itself.
