I have a black coupe with chrome repro thin spokes. Should I go red or black on my calipers? I was leaning towards red just to add some pop to the car but wasn't liking how it interacted with the chrome on some colors. Black would be tasteful but is it enough? Pics of both please!!
I asked the same question couple of weeks ago and got some good pics of black calipers with red letters which kinda give you the best of both worlds. When my garage gets warmer, thats what I'm doing. I thought red calipers, while pretty common, would be a bit much for me.
I like that! I have been planning on painting my calipers Dark Charcoal (to match the stripes I am putting on) with tan lettering (Lt. oak Interior). This looks GOOD!
you crack me up...everytime i beginning reading/posting on a thread, i see you have beat me to it again.
imho, there is nothing that makes my pulse race (automobile-wise) more than a gloss black vette lowered onto chrome/polished over-sized shoes with red calipers peeking thru.
and ryan's old '98 inspired me to pick up where he left off.
I've painted all my car's calipers Red. I just like the way it looks.
while you're in there do yourself a favor and paint the rotors as well, cover up the rust look. I did red calipers and silver rotors and I think it looks fantastic.
