Not married, but...
My dad was telling me about an employee who bought the new Shelby GT500 KR for like $70-$80k, while his wife was in England, without permission and only MENTIONED IT to the wife. She told him NO WAY, and if he did buy it expect the DIVORCE, she is leaving. Well as of now, she has returned and he currently hides all the paperwork from her and with a special agreement with the my dad, even hides the car inside the shop at work! He only gets to drive his toy when she is away and on lunchbreaks. This has been going on for like four months! Funny but pathetic. Dad said he should've saved some $$$, and bought a better car (Z06) and he would'nt have these problems. Somebody is WHIPPED!

Uh oh, better watch out so she doesnt match what you spent on the boat for jewlery. LOL
I bought my C5 4 months before I started dating my wife. It was here before her and if we divorced it would be afterwards too. Unlikely as we kind of still like each other.
However she has said that I am not allowed to sell the current one unless I can replace it with another vette or other project. The vette was down in 2004 when the balancer failed and it took out the front of the motor. I just moped for months around the house til she told me to fix it. After that she said I couldn't get rid of it unless I replaced it.
When I first started looking for a Vette, I began my search with C4s. It was my wife who encouraged me to start looking at C5s. She’s a sweetheart and loves the Vette.
My wife found out I bought my Tahoe when it was unloaded in front of our house. She has since figured out that if she tells me NO it will be here in a week. If she agrees then she knows I will hem and ha on it for months.
