Short Throw Shifter Length

I also cut off an inch off of the hurst shifter...so I need to get another boot badly. Just wondering how short the hurst is compared to stock and then Ill add another inch that I cut off to know the lenth of my new boot.

I mainly did it because I felt the shaft was still sitting up too high and I wanted it to look low, just put a cutting wheel onto a table polisher. Took all of 30 seconds. Then you need to know how to smooth/even out the end so that your shift **** will go onto the threads
