Front Plate Screen MOD by Quick Z06 Installed *PICS*
I bought a front plate of the auction and sent it out and had it finished in Navy Carbon Fiber to match the engine bay and interior. Then I sent it to "Quick Z06" to have the screen mod done. Quick Z06 did a great job on the plate and at a very reasonable cost. I did not want to cut out the large area that most people remove from the fascia so I decided to experiment with a 2" hole saw first, I could always cut out the plate area if I did not like the holes.

Looks good to me.I think the hole saw was a good idea.I think if you sprayed a little flat black the holes would disappear altogether. They don't show in your distance shot! Good job.
Very nicely done. And if you ever sell the car to someone who lives in a state that requires a front plate, the new owner will have no trouble mounting one. Good thinking!

Where did you get the rubber molding to hold in the screen?

WOW! I didn't even think of that. Most people cut out the entire area and you lose the screw holes to mount a front plate. Good eyes.
