I did, just a little shelf, a 2X2 screwed to the bottom of a 2X6. I rounded the 2X6 to match the roof, and drilled holes to accept the pins on the top. Used the 2X2 to screw to garage wall. Sounds complicated, but I have used it for years.
I used three of those utility hooks. Two for the bottom, and one to rotate down over the top edge of the roof to make sure it doesn't tilt out. Simple, effective, cheap.
This isn't a great picture of mine, but it is mounted up high on the wall to the right.
I bent 2 pieces of flat bar about 8" long into an L. I drilled about a 1/2" hole on one side of the L and 2 screew holes in the other. I mounted these at the exact width of the pointed roof catches (on the roof) to the wall. The back of the roof fits into these and then I mounted a foam covered lag bolt into the ceiling to hold the roof on the wall. You just have to leave enough room above the roof to lift it out of the bottom brackets.
This is simple and works great. I can store it in the bag or not.
