Tires and Wheels
I know this subject has been talked about in the past but I don't remember if it was with both wheels and tires.
I have a 03 that is ready for tires... original RFs with 24K on them... I am getting close to have to replace them so I am trying to get a plan together.
Now, I want to replace the wheels at the same time. Have standard painted spokes - want to move to something like the Motorsport ZO-6 chrome wheels ... still have not decided.
I like the idea of going larger moving from the 17 and 18 inch wheels to 18 and 19 inch wheels. I like the way it fills the wheel well better.
I want to stay with run flats... just do not want to mess around with plugs and pumps, besides I will feel better knowing the RFs are on when my wife has the car.
So the question is this - Can I put C6 18s and 19s under my C5 using the standard wheel and still have clearance or do I need to use a different wheel with a different offset? Can I hear from those of you that have done it and if you are good on the clearance and still thought it was a good idea after doing it?
