I read a couple threads and saw a few of you were running these. I decided to go with the Hawk pads , however if anyone is interested, Pepboys is closing out their stock of EBC Greenstuff pads for $20.00. The guy there told me they previously retailed for $95.00
I had the "low dust" green pads on my SVT Focus and they were the worst pads I've ever used. They were so bad that I sent an e-mail to EBC complaining about their quality. I never received a response.

DevilDog... I'm curious as to what you found bad about them? I've had them on my 2000 HDTP for about 5000 miles and have no complaints thus far... I had planned to purchase them again, so I'd like to know before I spend any more money on them.
I have Hawk HPS on my '73 and my autocross car. They work well, especially on the autocross car, but they dust pretty heavily when I autocross it. I would say under normal use the HPS and Greenstuff's probably dust about the same.

Supposedly they were "low dust" pads, but created more brake dust than the stock pads on my SVT Focus. I've had Hawk ceramic pads on my Vette now for 4-5 years and really like them.

And what Pep Boys was this at? I had a buddy back in NJ check for me and he did, but was told that this was done about a month ago.
The Pep Stock is years old, compounds have changed massively even in 2008, latest and only street compound to use is Redstuff and for Trackdays the Yellowstuff in the latest DM 1793 compound which is you dont find a great brake and superb value, e mail me for a refund anytime at andy@ebcbrakes.com
