4 Post Lifts ???
The new Rack-5 is made for the 4 post lift with the removable type of ramps. This ramp has a lip to bridge over the operating rods or cables that runs in front of the steel beam.
These are a light weight alternative to those HEAVY ( over 45lbs) hard to store ramps that came with your lift! Just think no more will you have to move those anchors around!! The rack ramps weigh only ten pounds each!! They even have a handy top side strap for easy placement.

I was going to have someone build me some extensions to hinge off the steel ramps at approx. midpoint @ 18" and be 36" long. The total ramp length would be +/- 54".
Your RACK RAMP 4 would be +/- 62".
Are they also a plastic composition?
The product is a high density coated polystyrene with its ledge - which the steel ramp plate rests on - reinforced. Do you have a pic you could post of your ramps. Our product should be the best and easiest solution, but lets make sure modifications aren't required.
Thanks,
Bill
The steel ramps on my BEND PAK lift are 36" long x 18" wide and hinge off the crossmember. They each have two DELRIN rollers on the leading edge.
I made these pre-ramps from 3/4" plywood, which are stepped, 40" long by 24" wide x 2" high. The steel ramps come down on top of the plywood ramps so I don't need to reposition them each time.

My issue is that I leave my BMW lift pucks in place permanently. My car is only 5/8" lower than original, which is just enough to scrape on the rear pucks when driving on/off the lift.
I'll do some thinking about submitting plans for longer/wider ramps from your "custom ramps" link. Thanks!

& Nice Red Ride.
As you can see our Rack-5 is 40" long with 5" under the extention lip so you would want to measure your lift height after removing the existing steel ramps and measure to see if it is 5" from floor surface to top of steel.
Hope this helps!

As you can see, due to the pitch in my garage floor, I need quite a bit of help to get high enough to clear the front end (even with the factory 4 ft aluminum extensions in place).

So, you want to replace the wood ramps only? Those metal ramps can't be light.
Or would you consider one ramp to replace the two pieces you currently use??
Your pictures would indicate the later.
Let us know, Brute
Let us know before you order the height at the end of the yardstick. OK? Thanks, Brute

I'm looking to replace the wooden extensions. The metal ramps that attach to the lift are actually made of aluminum and are very light...those wood ramps are a different story
I'll measure them tonight when I get home...I'm assuming the best approach would be the custom design option?
Thanks
Tom
