I have El Cheapo WalMart grey mats over my nice stock ones.
When I "show", I take out the cheapos. Otherwise, they take the abuse rather than some cool custom ones or the OEM rugs.

I'm also unfamiliar with any big deal with C5 floormats. The only thing I can think of is that they must be a helluva lot WIDER than those one would find in a C4.

I think the BSM debate is much more important than floormats.

Hold on a minute... we'll cover this once we determine whether or not to run run-flats...

That's going to take place right after it's decided what kind of wiper blade we should run even though we don't drive in the rain.

But first don't we need to determine if front license plate aerodynamics affect speed?

Not as long as you're running the performance hood seal

The most important debate is A4 Vs. MN6. Nothing else matters until this is finally put to bed.

OOOOOOoo my, I have floor mats on my C5... Please forgive me....lol
I have Torch Red carpet and I want to keep it looking good so I use floor mats, I see nothing wrong with that. Floor mats are a lot better to clean or replace than the whole carpet. Do as you wish, I am sticking with mats...

None of this trivial fluff will be determined until we find out why C6's won't wave at C5's, C5's won't wave at C4's, C4's won't wave................ ad nauseatum.
