Eckler's Radar Detector Mount
OK so I thought I would install my Bel RX65 today with my invisicord and the Ecklers visor mount (like the pic). The mount installed onto the visor, no problem, but it sits so close to the windshield frame that when I put the detector on the mount, I can't use the buttons on top of the unit. I thought this was the ideal set up. 
It looks like I can spin the plateform upside down and mount the velcro on the top of the unit, but now it's hanging below the windshield shading so that it is more easy to see.
Has anyone else used this mount with an RX65? What am I missing here.

Check and see if they offer a remote or hidden controls, I have a Valetine and mounts about the same but controls are hidden where the ash tray goes The main unit is hidden by the windshield tint unless your realy looking.

To all that may search this post in the future. I corrected the situation by unscrewing the upper bracket (that goes under the visor)from the arm of the mount, putting the arm in the vise and gently bending it down about 5 degrees. Detector now is still hidden by windshield shading and there is enought room to use the buttons on top of the unit. All is good!
