I realize this forum has been blowing up with Exhaust threads lately but after my install today I had no choice in the matter....I HAD to talk about these things.
My setup: Vortex breathless intake, B&B Shorties (they were on when I got the car...would have gotten LT's instead), Stock mid section (including H-pipe for now), B&B Dual Tip bullets. Engine has no internal upgrades (cam, heads etc...) so a fairly stock 2003 as far as that goes.
I have Tigershark front and rear fascia that will be going on soon and my B&B PRT's
(that I just replaced) would need some major surgery to work with the Rear TS so I decided to get the Bullets since they are a more straight forward design when it comes to customization. Plus I didn't want to potentially ruin the PRT's...plan on selling them.
Finally to the review: As mentioned I had the PRT's for the last 3 years and I'll say this about them...they are not to be underestimated. The PRT's had a nice, deep throaty rumble and gave my car sort of a lope sound...as if I had a baby cam upgrade. I got plenty of compliments on the sound. Cruising speed 45 to 60 was very pleasant (unless of course you down shift and stomp on it, talk about waking up a giant!). But alas...I was pulling them off anyway for reasons mentioned above.
I spent the better part of 2 hours under my car this morning popping these babies in, sweating with anticipation. Started her up and almost pooped my pants
So I'm like...If it sounds this good at idle lets get out there and paint some pavement. HOLY S**T....INSANE....windows down or windows up, didn't matter, it was pure sex!!! I could actually feel it in my stomach. Found my way into some stop and go traffic, so I roll up the dark windows to spy on peeps to see if the sound would get their attention. Attention I GOT...this one little boy was practically jumping out of his daddys $90,000 BMW trying to get my attention (it's great when the kiddies freak out, they end up as vette guys when they grow up just like me).
Due to the threat of rain I only logged about 20 min with the bullets but it was a very memorable 20 min. The tone is DEEP...like Barry White deep, down shifting while coming to a stop light was like...(how can I put this)...You know those low bass rumbles you hear when the sky is black before a serious storm...that is the only thing I can think of to explain it but now mix in the sound of an engine reving up in the down shift. Felt and sounded the way I always wanted it to be!
Doing a Magnuson Tru-X pipe soon...so we'll see what that does but for now...OMG....Happy doesn't explain what I am! I'm happy to answer any questions but remember, I'm just an enthusiast, not a mechanic.
Peace Folks,
Jason

Wish I could give you a good answer but honestly I spent most of the 20 min. driving at very low or VERY HIGH rpms. Other than the normal shift into 6th gear at around 60 to 65 mph I got NO drone. Also remember that I have the stock mid section, I'm expecting that after the x-pipe install I'll lose a little popping and drone.
To sum up...Dude...if you're on the fence....GET OFF IT...they are SWEET....as close to a badazz Stang GT sound as you're going to get. For me....and for me alone....a mustang GT exhaust note is the sweetest factory production car sound I've ever heard.

Bullets do Rock!! I have the PRT's now and love them too..only reason I swicthed was my car with a nice size cam and Long tube headers actually got too much attention
with bullets so I went with PRT's.
If you like those Bullets the way they sound now, you have got to get yourself some Longtube headers
They are worth the money and effort and will make your car even sound cooler
Glad you like them.

They are 305/25/20's...they are not as wide as the pic would suggest...truth is...for some reason the angle I took the pic from made the rear tire look like a donut so while I was photochopping the pic I took the liberty of fattening up the rear tire so I could see what 345's might look like. I liked the pic so much I use it as my wallpaper on all of my PC's and my smartphone. Here is a couple that are more realistic.

Very good choice in putting the Bullets on your car. They will certainly get you noticed.

Bullets are BADAZZ!!!! Just wish I could get my tips to line up
Peace folks
Looks like I got my answer. I was on the b&B website and the bullets sounded sweet. Now with what you have said makes me want to
install these pipes tonight. One question, how is the cabin noise
when your crusing on a trip?

Well... I'll say this...my wife was away Saturday when I installed them (she didn't know anything about it) when I took her to the grocery store today, as I began to plow throw 3rd gear (windows up) she turns to me and says..."there's something different about your car...did you do something to the engine?" I just smiled and said...naaa...you just haven't been in the car for a while
I wouldn't call it cabin "noise" it's more like cabin "heavy metal". It's intense but only when I'm at idle or pressing the go pedal hard. Cruising is very mild...get a little aggressive and it makes your internal organs feel like you have a subwoofer in your gut. Not for the meek...def. for the bold! I haven't turned on my stereo in 2 days (seriously)...all I want to do is listen to the exhaust.
