Default intake mani and tb

would a 90 mm intake mani and tb from an ls2 gto work on our cars and would there be any real gain? thanks mike

Don't know if they would work or not, I don't see why it wouldn't.
But if you are stock displacement you would not see any gains that would be worth your time and money. If you have a cam, or heads and cam then you may see some gain but still probably not worth your time and money, unless you get the parts really cheap and you do the swap at same time of head cam swap.
I'm sure there will be others to disagree, but let's see some #'s to prove it.

You will need an adapter wiring harness for the LS2 TB, a couple companies sell them b/t $50-60. The manifold will fit.

But I've seen some "Hot Rod" performance swap articles where the LS6 manifold actually made a few more HP than the LS2 even though the TB opening is smaller. Maybe that's one of the reasons the factory LS6 was up 5 HP on the LS2 even though the LS2 has more cubes.
