OK guys, my creativity sucks so I need some help with ideas for personalized plates. I only get SIX digits to work with! As soon as my title arrives in the mail hopefully this week, I'm off to DMV to order something when I register her.
The car: 2003 Z06, black on black, completely stock
Location: Alaska
I'd love to get something having to do with the joy of owning this wonderful car. A few ideas I had thus far... (all of these are available)
U4IC Z (borrowed idea from fellow member U4ICK)
C5 Z06
RGASMC
ZZZZ06
AK Z06
Z0SICK (another borrowed idea from CF)
I don't have personalized plates .... but I've always thought that rather than telling people what kind of car you have .... tell them who you are. This has a couple of advantages ... if you come up with a good plate to describe YOU, then (at least here in CA) you can transfer it to new vehicles later on. The other advantage is that while a few people might recognize ZZZZ06 as denoting a very cool Corvette, the average driver just won't get it. They wouldn't know a Z06 from a C4 ZR-1. And those that would recognize a Z06 ... they don't need a license plate to help them.
That's why I like plates like U4ICK .... he can put that on another Corvette, a Ferrari .... or a hand built hot-rod and it still tells you where his heart is.
I'd recommend you think about something like your current forum name, or for a favorite aircraft or series of aircraft (mud hen ??) ... broaden your "horizen" beyond just the car ... tell people who you are.
HAHA AWESOME!! I think that is actually going onto my consideration list! My other cars have aviation-related custom plates too and wasn't sure if I wanted yet another... but that one's good.

My new tag should be here in the next few weeks. I ordered EDZ Z06. I had a Silverado I bought new back in 94 and it had EDZ Z71 on it. That tag lasted throught 4 different trucks that I had. I just gave that plate up about a year ago.
I was only allowed 6 digits as well. In Canada, we actually pronounce z as zed. Since the owner's video refers to the car as a zeeo6, I thought the plate would help people out with the "proper pronunciation"

Thats a really nice car you got there!
I really like the white and those rims!
I never seen a white Z06 in real life, is that a rare color?
