In may my car goes in for a little surgury what do you guys think? Currently my car has lg pros, haltech stinger cai, and tune, it makes 382 rwhp. The additional mods will be patriot stage 2 ported heads with 59cc chambers (11:1), cam 231/237 .589/.595 112lsa, ported fast 90 and ported ls2 tb. My guess would be 460+ rwhp and 420+ rwtq,,,,your upcoming mods are very similar to mine,,,as long as your tuner knows what he's doing you are gonna love it!

Cam is 232/236---.595/.601, 114+4,,,,,FAST and LS2 are not ported yet. Heads are LS6 2.055Intake, 1.6Ex, angle milled 58cc, CNC ported, Crane 833 duals, REV valves,,Done by Pete Incaudo, V-Max Motorsports, Land 0' Lakes, Florida SCR is a bit under 11.5 due to fly cut >.080" of pistons

You should get some more power out of the Ported FAST an Ported TB,
Hell, you just might hit 475! Good luck and keep us posted.

Installer told me 430 to 450. I wonder if they low ball you just in case your car is a pooch. I made 382 with headers and cai I know some cars make more, do those numbers seem right, it was very hot and humid the day of the tune.

450+ or I'd be mad. I'm making 436/397 w/ a G5-X2 which is 232/240 .595/.608 on a 114 LSA. Stock LS6 heads and manifold.

I have changed my mind on my set-up. The set-up will be the same except for milled afr 205's and cam will now spec. 235/240 .642/.609 111+1 lsa. What do you think now?

I would not go with that much lift on the intake. You need to keep a traditional forward split on the lift. That cam with the milled AFR's will not clear on the intake side and the exhaust side will definitely be tight, especially with the tight LSA. something along the lines of a 236/242 .600/.610 on a 112+4 would be alot more streetable and easier to tune while still making great power and taking advantage of the higher scr and dcr fromthe milled heads. You are going to need to fly cut regardless. DO NOT take chances with PTV clearances.
(ask me how I know)

Just did a 02Z with longtubes, cai, comp 232/236, 595/601,113lsa, stock heads, tb, and intake. Did 413/387. Tuner said ported heads would give me another 35-40 horsepower so 450rwhp or so sounds like in the ball park.

Be sure to keep us posted on the results. Remember what I said about

Speed Inc. for install and tune. They said p to v clearance will be checked and should not be an issue, they are very experienced and reputable. They did a great tune on my car last year. I should have the car back next friday or sat.

They called me today and said it is ready for pick-up. He didn't give me the exact numbers, but said 464/420 and said it made more torque and horsepower at every rpm vs the stock motor with headers, tune and cai. I am pumped!!!! I will give you the exact numbers after I pick-up the car friday.

I picked the car up today and it is very impressive. It has a very broad torque curve with the lg pros and afr heads and custom ground cam. Speed inc. did a great job with the install, tune and choice of components. The car is very driveable and makes more power everywhere not just on top. 463/420

Olf,
Enjoy the new found power! Heads and cam on a vette is a great choice. Power everywhere and instant throttle response.
What more could ya want!
Honestly, the best thing I ever did to my car!
