Default Need help with color

Well the Z06 got keyed a couple months ago and its in the shop getting sanded down. My buddy ownes a shop and he is absolutly awesome at paint and body work. He is basically disassembling the whole car so he said that I can change the color if I wanted too for no additional cost. So my question is, should I leave the car black or go with a color change? Anyone have pics of colors on a 01-04 Z06 that arent the stock colors? I dont want anything flashy though. I was even considering going speedway white b/c I LOVE white vettes for some reason. Any and all advise would be great.

THANKS JASON

I'd go with a non-stock C5 color if it were me.... just to be different ...Orange...

I'd go with a stock colored base with a metallic flake of some sort sprayed over. If you love white then a white base with a blue or pearl flake would be absolutely gorgeous...

I fell in love with the color scheme of last year's Nascar Daytona pace car Corvette. Probably a little on the exotic side, but you get to see all the colors in one shot!

I would suggest a non stock color, just to be unique and stand out a bit more. I think the Atomic Orange or the Daytona Sunset Metallic Orange looks great. There was an outside picture or a green one floating around herethat looked great too.

Stock colors with custom clear coats look awesome. I saw a silver C5 with a black pearl clearcoat and it was sweet.

That sounds real nice. But I had the spokes on my chrome Z06 wheels powder coated gloss black. Do you think they will clash with the car since they wont have the red tint to them?

What do you guys thing about a decent amount of metalic flake added to the stock color?

The Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic is a beautiful color - that would be my choice.

Or a stock color that was not offered on ZO6's..........Anniversary Red, Bowling Green, Magnetic Red, Spiral Gray........you could have the only one in existence.
