what color combo?? do an over all look at the car in and out...see if the cars service records show the bypass and other fixes have been taken care of...if the car is in great shape and you can get it out the door for 25k with taxes, tags, etc. I would say jump on it...get a carfax too bro...good luck and welcome to the dark-side!!!
That's actually a surprising price to see at a stealership, but if that car checks out... it's a good deal. I've been Z-shopping for six months before finally buying one 3 weeks ago... any '02 Z's with that kind of mileage generally were trying to sell from 25.5 to 26.5, from private parties and forum members.
The one '02 Z I looked at from a dealer in Burbank, CA was also an EB with black interior, 60,000 miles and they were asking $30,999! It wasn't in the best shape either... terrible exhaust rattles, the engine sounded tired and there were all manner of paint chips in places there should never be chips. I ran away. Fast.
FWIW I picked up my 01 Z06 with 66k on the clock for 23k 2 weeks ago. Then again, the rear differential took a **** 2 days after I got it, but to make up for it, it has a ~$2k sound system.
I would try and talk them down a little bit. I bought my '02 EB Z06 with just under 27K miles for $26,750 and that was about a month ago at a dealership!
I paid $27,000 for mine a week and a half ago from a dealership. Silver with black interior. 25,500 miles, short throw, 30lb injectors, 1st to 4th eliminator, maybe a chip, and maybe some other stuff. I'm gonna take it to get tuned and find out what else is down. Also got a 60month warranty or 60,000 miles on top of what the car has already (whichever one comes first).
Thats not a bad price.... As long as everything checks out. I bought a 01 Z06 with 17k on it for $26k.... In stock form. Just remember you dont have to buy this one. There are tons out there, so make sure you look around. Good luck.
