I just purchased a Midland Handheld CB Radio and am now looking to add an CB antenna to improve reception. Since this is a handheld unit, I would prefer to find an antenna that could be easily removed. But, under no circumstances am I willing to drill a hole in the car to run the wire to the outside of the car. I would love to find a glass mount unit but all of the ones I have found so far are permanently mounted. So, is there any solution to my dilemna?
Try a Wilson 1000 trunk lip mount.
They are base loaded and will not need a large ground plain to get out or receive.
I have the Magnetic version that I use on the Trailblazer for our trips.
The truckers work better than any radar detector.
They keep ya posted on the cops where abouts.
Have a good one
