I put on my chrome reproductions today and really like the look but I had several questions. The wheels (especially the rears) seemed to require a large number of weights to balance them - Is that usual for reproductions? Would OEM chrome been better in that regard?
When I put the chrome repos on mine it required lots of weights also. I questioned the tire guy said it is not unusual to have so many. I guess he was right no shimmy etc, car responds well, only driven it 125mph...no problems yet. I just feel better about the car especially after washing...the stock wheel color always made it seem the car was not clean.
WE :seeya BACK!!!!!!!!
They look GREAT to me, but then, what do I know?
I don't see a lot of weights on my rear wheels. Since I just got mine, I'm having the alignment and wheel balancing checked on it in the next week or so, just to be safe.
