I went with the Blackwing, made a corresponding square opening about the diameter as the Blackwing in the radiator shroud, plastic power duct, removed flow screen in the maf(if applicable). Very noticable power response!!

Hi..if you're referring to the BBK aluminum pwr duct yes... Mine is polished and I run that with a blackwing filter...certainly flows more air and seems to give more "umpf" at WOT...

i bought this setup off ebay. with shipping it cost me $60.00. you cannot beat the deal. and for the experts that say its junk, they are the people that think spending more on everything gets you better!!! not so. i ran a grease test on this set up against my stock system. no visual difference. if you search ebay motors you will find these set-ups running anywhere from $25.00 to $170.00. this one was $49.99 plus $10.00 shipping...good luck

Just did the same thing with my Blackwing, cut an opening 11x5 in the radiator shroud, placed 24ga screen over it to protect from leaves or other debris, will finish the project tomorrow and post pics before I reinstall the Blackwing. I also did the front plate air tunnel port, I might end up with more cold air than I need... Good job....

What kind of oil do you use on your filters? I've never seen a blue oil. K&N is red.

I have the BBK unit in my car, not the polished one though. It was pretty easy to install make sure you have some extra hosing around. You can tell the difference on the highway etc. I like it.
