WOW!! I just changed mine following Ranger's suggestions and boy what a difference. I dont think it had ever been changed. It's smooth as butter and shifts are much much faster. Almost like a new car. My Z06 has 42k on her what other fluids should I change soon?

How difficult was it to get to the bleeder valve? Did you have to drop the exhaust? I need to do the same thing. My cluch peddle pressure seems to fade by the 3-4 shift in a WOT run but does ok under normal driving. I turkey basted the reservoir and added clean fluid. It helped but know it should still shift better.

How many times did you repeat the steps. IT took about 15-17 times to be completely clear. Make sure you pump the pedal about 20-30 times every refill. My clutch was somewhat stiff and sometimes I was grinding gears because of clutch woes. I wouldnt figure that changing the clutch fluid would help with this but it does. I was able to get into gears alot easier because of clutch engagement.

Ranger's method does help for sure. I change mine every other month now.

bobdobb - check the fluid to make sure it still clear, I use Valvoline SynPower. Change it a couple of times and you should start seeing a difference.

You might try ATE typ 200 as it has a high (388F) wet boiling point. I'm going to try Motul (wet bp=420F) even though expensive.
