DIC Service Message
Alright - Been driving all day after not being in the Z for quite a while. All perfect until getting back into car after dinner.
Service ABS
Service Active Handling
starts flashing on the DIC. Traction control button does not activate or deactivate (I assume it's completedly off since the amber ABS and "skidding car" symbols are lit up on the dash board).
I haven't checked the codes yet. Anyone out there have this happen to their Z and what was the prognosis?

Just bought my 2003 Z06 a few weeks ago and I too have seen this message. My speed control also deactivates without warning. Andy at A&A Corvette said that the 2 conditions may be related. Probably some sensor needs to be replaced.

Both of you need to do two things ....
1) Check for DTC that may be (probably are) posted in your EBCM. If you don't know how to display DTC ... go here ....

2) SEARCH once you have the DTC data .... there are hundreds of posts on problems with the EBCM. If you don't find what you need, post a new thread and include your DTC data to help in diagnosing your problem.
