Default bullets with h/c

anybody running b & b bullets with lt/h/c set-ups. Are they ridiculous load all the time or are tolerable with no hearing loss. I want to buy a set, but h/c goes in soon. Right now I am running indys, with lt's and cats(will be keeping cats).

With cats it will definately be tolerable. I have heads/cam LT's no cats w/ GHL exhaust and I DD mine no problem.

I personally don't think the Bullets are any louder than the GHL so you should be good to go!!!

I had bullets with long tubes and I tolerated them with a sound partition. They sounded good, but had resonance/drone issues for sure at certain RPM's

After the heads cam install the Bullets were sick ! The Heads cam will really awake the exhaust note comming from your engine !!!! My door pannels vibrated at certain RPMs. Varions other plastic parts in the car shook. I could not have a conversation with my neighbor standing beside my car with it started. I got rid of them and went to Corsa touring. Corsa has some GREAT engineering in there exhaust to dial out the resonance. The WOT volume on the touring is a sweet sound.... I'm considering going to Corsa Indy's to get a little more volume at idle.

I would keep your indy's as something to go back to in case the bullets are too loud for you.

After the day is done its all personal perspective. What is sick loud to me might not be to someone else.

Here is my video with H/C setup, and Corsa Touring

I think the B&B Bullets are quite a bit louder than any of the GHL models. I've got H/C lts with Corsa Indys, and had to add the HF cats because they were too loud w/o cats. Perfect now....really loud outside the car, but not too bad interior w/ partition. No resonance.

Stinger volume is quite a bit less than Bullets. My friend often said when we would play side by side that he could only hear my Bullets, and could not hear his Stingers at all. Stingers have resonance issues as well he tells me. I'm just not sure how much.

I am running h/c with bullets on my procharged Z and its not for the faint of heart but no problem for me. Its not MUCH louder after h/c install this winter than b/f, but this all comes down to what is too loud for you vs. the next guy, etc.

Really need to experience somebody who has bullets in a h/c C5 in your area and maybe a post in your local regional section will give you some hits on that topic.

I love the combo and I have longtubes and high flow cats, and without cats, would defintiely be too loud but just about perfect for me right now but I tend to be a little when it comes to this C5 high performance gear head stuff!
