Was this Vette for Export???
I heard that C5 vettes with the VIN# on the front passanger side frame rail were for Canadian export. Is this true? If you open the hood you can see it on the frame rail by the air intake. If so, I quess mine was for export, but has always been in the states.

Not sure, but does your car have an engine block heater and foglights? I believe these were standard for Canada bound C5s.

It has fog lights. I have not found a cord for an engine block heater.

Speedometer go to 300kmph, dash default to metric?
That is, where the export VINs are located.
RPO U19 Instrument Cluster, Metric (Canadian, Export)
RPO Z49 Modifications, Canadian, Mandatory Base Equipment

Excluding Z06's, all C5's have foglights.

If your vette is an export version, you should have the "EXP" code on the sticker in your glovebox
