I couldn't help myself, I have a three day weekend and decided to finally install my LG Street Headers! I'll put some pics up tomorrow hopefully. I still have to button a few things up before I fire it up. I'm going to keep the Ti's on for a while and see how I like it. A tune will follow shortly!
LG makes a great header I have Kooks 1-7/8" Headers on my Z06, but I'm going to go with LG Pro 1-3/4" Headers, 3" X-pipe w/3" Metal Matrix high flow cats for the C6.
Your Z06 should sound great with the LG/Ti combo! That baby is gonna scream at WOT
Enjoy
I just added the LG Longtubes, x-pipe and no-cats to my Z16.
I kept the TI exhaust.
LG did the work (since they are so close).....you will love them.
Sounds great !!!
Just a little rumble at idle and on the hiway....but look out when you step on it !!!!
I got the ARH with no cats and I'm using the Ti's also. I think they sound pretty good. I like how they are quiet at cruise and really open up and get fairly loud when im in it.
LT's and stock TI's sound really good. It is not a crazy loud everyone look at me sound you get with LT's and PRT's that I had before switching back to the TI's.

Just placed my order today for streets and catted x pipe. I'm gonna leave my Corsa Indys on for a while but will put the Ti set on if its to loud. Can't wait to hear em.
Well I just got everything finished up. We ran into a few snags today when trying to wrap everything up. When it came time to put the spark plug wires back on I noticed 1 was dry rotted and comming apart by the boot....abotu an hour later we got a new set and were back in business!
Ive got 1 or 2 small exhaust leaks which I think are aroudn the cats which I plan to fix tomorrow after work. Other than that I am very happy with them. They are a little louder than stock at idle and scream when you let it rip!!
I've had my LG long-tubes for just over 18 months and by far the best money I've spent other than the purchase of the car. I went with the hi-flo cats, & the Tis, and may have left a tiny bit of HP on the table, but I'm smog legal and I don't get black flagged for exceeding the decibel limit at the track like some of my buddies with loud exhaust.
To me the LG/Ti exhaust gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to sound: Quiet at cruising speed, but will get your attention at full throttle.
I also am running the LG streets catted x pipe and Billy Boat rte 66s.I love the sound and it runs great. Not much louder than the Ti"s.I almost went with the PRT"s but they were to loud for my taste at WOT.I dont mind the guy behind me hearing it open up I just dont need the entire neighborhood hearing it.

I have the LG streets with no cats and TI. It sounds good, just not loud enough for me. I have ordered the Granatelli/E bay catback to kick it up a notch, but will hold onto the TI as a fallback plan.

Let me know how it sounds I was thinking about that cat-back as well. Thanks!
Monza Man I tried to send you a message but your box is full! Let me know if you want to sell your cats for $200. I am located in Greensboro and can pick them up!

Personal preference I know, but hope you don't mind sounding like a 19 year old in a Mustang.

lol... I like how Mustangs can sound, having owned them from a '65 coupe up through an '01 Cobra, ranging from a 408cid Procharged '94 trailer queen to my last a '90 GT with KB and full Bassani exhaust.
I want louder, just not as loud as my last car, a heads and cammed '04 GTO with STS GT67 no-cats (JBA straight pipes). Somehow I think the Z will be somewhat quieter than that, while still having a healthy muscle car sound.

Yeah, you could say that (LG Pros / BB Bullets) but all I can say is that I absolutely enjoy listening to every revolution the motor turns. I do it all for me, and I like it. By the way, I still enjoy my stroked and blown 5.0L Mustang too.

All in good fun! Somehow I knew I'd get a rise out of someone. The shop that installed my LGs is primarily a Mustang shop so we have a lot of fun going back an forth. I tried to talk my wife into a GT 500 convertible (cake and eat it too!) but she's not having it. For some reason she didn't think I'd be getting if for her. Oh well!
