It isn't enough to have to deal with the jealous haters that don't have Corvettes, now we have to deal with a jealous hater that DOES have a Corvette?
As mentioned - you can always move. I don't think you need a visa or anything like that if you move to the sunbelt.
Cheer up Bunky......the official first day of spring is only about a month away.

Ok, I feel your pain. I live in Wisconsin and am suffering through the worst winter in many years. You need to sit back, close your eyes, and picture yourself driving with the top down (Yours a 'vert?) on an 85 degree July afternoon, when it is too hot in alot of southern states to do that on a consistent basis. The late spring, summer, and early fall are definately better in the northern half of the country. If that doesn't work, take another pill.....
I feel your pain but I am down the Jersey Shore and it is a mild 51 degrees and RAINING and know what.....I found out they don't melt and I am loving driving it ! No hibernation for me anymore! Unless its snow I am using it !
It's your fault for getting a Vette without a top and heater option.
I thought ahead and got mine with a top that goes up and down so weather permitting, I can enjoy the sun and wind but if it gets too cold, I can put it up and turn on the optional heater and be all comfy while enjoying my drive.
You guys that put a fantastic car like this in storage are cheating yourselves.
I hear you Jerry. Here's a shot of my house taken a couple of weeks
ago. We've had two more snow storm since this photo and it pretty much captures what winter looks like up here from mid November through mid March. On the flip side...five months of storage keeps the milage down.
Remo
but if everybody who owned a vette moved here to florida, there wouldn't be any low mileage, never driven in rain or snow C-5 convertibles to buy and bring down south. I bought my 11K mile 02 EB convertible in Minnsota.
I like the snow...but, everything in moderation. I was born in OR and moved to AZ years ago (the valley of the damned).
We finally moved north to experience four seasons instead of two...plus, it gives me a reason to spend quality shop time.
It's currently 76°F and we are suppose to have wicked thunderstorms all afternoon.
We have weather to deal with down south. I'm worried it might hail today. I need to buy a daily driver and make the vert a weekend trip vehicle. I can't believe I almost have 29K on it now.
Oh sorry you are up north in the cold, but look at the bright side, owl bore says its warming up so it may be your last winter.

i drive in everything, snow, rain, tornados, you name it. IMO it builds character and you and your vette have a stronger relationship that and its my only car.
