One member I do remember was around when I joined CF was a young guy who had a very major mod project on his orange vette. I think it was a coupe but may have been an FRC. Major mods to almost every system funded by maxing out a half dozen credit cards. He ended up selling the car and never got to enjoy it as the credit card debt caught up. Probably $30-40k as I remember. It was a beautiful car but he ended up selling the car, loosing his a$$ and moving back with his parents while he paid off the CC debt.
Thanks for the hilarious thread this morning guys. After answering 2hr worth of clients P..d off emails this morning , watching 3 inch of snow and ice fall last night, throw my back out on the ice getting the morning paper, and having to put a batt charger on the vett because I know it will be another 2 wks before the driveway will melt, I NEEDED A LAUGH!!

Mod fever was truly a disease in his case.
I remember that. He later bought a C4 as he was going through Vette withdrawl.

That old thread in the archives was 13 pages deep. 3/4s of the picture links were not valid any more. The archives only had 4 pages available, so imagine what that thread must have looked like.

John is still around on this forum and I spoke to him over the phone recently about some tires he was selling for a friend. From what I gather he is doing quite well for himself now.
