Default Silver vette question

Is the silver of a 1997 vette different from the silver of a 2002? If you put a silver T-top from a 2002 on a 97 would the difference be noticable?

I am planning on buying the top online tonight if it will look ok. I ran a search on the topic and their is definatly a difference between Machine and Sebring and Quick. But no one ever mentioned differences between quick and sebring. I'm thinking GM just changed the name to advertise new colors.

Thanks I thought about getting a used quick silver top for $550 for my 97 silver coupe. Cause I like the painted look better. But if it's gonna look really bad forget it.

That's cool, just messing around. Your 97 is it Sebring Silver, what color is that website offering?

If you find it cheep enough, you can always have the paint matched.

The '97 had Sebring Silver Metallic and the '02 had Quicksilver. I would say you will see a difference in the two paint colors.
