My 03's AC was ice cold last summer. I never was hot even though we had 95 degree and 99 percent humidity. You may have a freon leak.

Yeah, mine sucks. Same deal. Blows cool, but not cold. Probably a freon leak or blown compressor. I just haven't justified the cost of an AC fix over a performance mod.

If its not cold enough, it probably needs a charge.

I think C5 AC's are great. Mine will freeze the b**ls off a brass monkey. Stick a thermometer in the center air duct. You should see mid 50's going down the road at 80 ambient. As was mentioned earlier, you may need a light shot of refrigerant.

Here's a chart for some detail.

Agreed, something is wrong.

I am in Orlando, and if I leave it on low by accident I start to freeze.

Same here coldest I ever set it is 69°F. Auto when I first get going it will switch to internal recirc then switch to normal mode once the temp is reached. But I usually run it between 70-72°F and that makes it pretty cold inside. (vert too - no mods)

Default Read this, it could save you a lot of money!!!!!!!

It should cool very well. Their have been some instances that I have read about in which the battery leaked acid. Seems that some of the AC hoses are located under the battery.

You should pull you battery and tray beneath it and check for hose issues.

Might also have the freon R134A level checked and a leak check if it is low.

Check the Freon level.
Sounds like it is low.

Check to see if your throwing any codes. May have to have the air door recalibrated. Had that problem with the 04.
