C5 B/W Checkered Flag

Noticing that the black/white checkered flag pattern changes...is one any more "correct" than the other?

Flags are generally associated with the years / model of the Vette. They are also utilized in other Chevrolet makes as well. (such as the older SS Impala)

If you are talking about the flag on each generation, then no. Its just a style change for each generation.

I've seen the black/white checkers both ways on the C5 emblems. I believe GM trademarked each way. Black, upper left, & white, upper left.

That's the direction the question was going...black/white checkers changing position. Guess there is no "official/unofficial" C5 rule. Thanks for the feedback.
