Default Fog Lights

I am replacing oem fogs with the Piaa 1100's.
Got em mounted etc, but need some advice on the wiring.
I would like to use the oem fog light wiring but can't
seem to find the "bulb" side wire plug weatherpack..
I would like to NOT have to cut oem fog wiring and keep in
original.. which brings up: can I just use oem fog wires to
power my Piaa's?? really don't want to run more wires. Thanks

you could probably cut off the connectors of the PIAA and splice them into the stock wiring.

i'd use the harness that came with the kit though, it's more robust than the stock wires. plus it will be fused directly to the battery, so you'll be fully protected.

Get the opposite end pigtails from a auto parts store that fits your oem foglight pigtail.
That way all you have to do is connect those wires from the pigtail you just bought to the wires from the Piaa pigtails. No wire cutting needed!

Also if you want to return to stock, just unplug the pigtail and plug the oem pigtail back into you stock lights.
Hope this helped

I tried today to do this.. Looked thru many books.. Could NOT find the male side (like the 899 bulb is)..Just found the female side that is
on the cars wiring harness..
Any part# or suggestions would be great.

I would do some research and try to find the vendor that supplied the original harnesses. They might be able to hook you up with a vendor.

Keep looking though,I did a similar thing years ago and found the part at Circle auto parts in Midland,MI.

Good luck and keep us posted
