Default Weird Rattle

I drove my car the last week when we had the 4 degree night because it was a dry night but very cold. Coming home from work I started to notice a weird rattle, after the car was driven for several miles, the rattle disappeared -figured the car probably had some cold joints - didn't realize that Vette's could develop ARTHRITIS also . But today I drove it again and the same weird rattle started up again but this time -it only happens when I drive over changing grades on the road or when there is a considerable bump on the road. At first I thought I was hearing it on the passenger rear, but now it sounds like it's coming from the driver front. The rattle sounds like when it's dragging something plastic, -kinda like when the plastic airdams in the front scrapes. I've check the front airdams -none loose, check the back -don't see anything unbolted, checked the sway bars- all bolts accounted for- so now I'm stumped . Will look more into it in the springtime when I can put it on jack stands and lift the car, but in the meantime -has anybody here have any suggestions on what I should look for. Is there any chance that the shocks need replacing or lubricated? Thanks for all the help!
