Default Replacement seats

I am going to replace the standard seats on my 97 and upgrade to sport seats.

I am not wild about the GM OEM seats skins as the quality is so so. What does everyone think about say Mid America? Others?

BTW, I don't want to spend $ 2000 on Vette Essentials.

Have you tryed Corvette Orginals in Douglasville, Ga.? They custom the seats to what you want. This might be what your looking for. They will be in Sevierville, Tn. March 28th and 29th.

Corbeau A4 - get the lateral support you need in these cars, with leather, with sub-slots, all while retaining your tilt and slide adjustments with the seat. Keep your eye out and you can find them for about $1k for the pair...

I have the ones from Corvette Originals and they are fantastic and half the price of Mid Am.

Do they just mount onto the C5 OEM seat track?

I believe ECS (East Coast Supercharging) sells some seat covers also. They are a forum sponsor and have a very good reputation.

Might want to run a search or maybe someone who has them can chime in. They have a website.

I think my brother bought his from mid-America. They looked pretty good to me.

Another option to consider is to switch over to the C6 seats. I understand they are better. My brother has them in his car and I like them but don't have enough time in them to really give a fair evaluation.

I have the MAM covers on my '99 (red/black) for almost 5 years, and they just did some seat covers for my wife's 01. They make their own covers and the quality is excellent. We wanted a non-production color (white) with a pink ribbon accent, and they special-ordered the color we wanted. They sent us the material to have embroidered locally, and we sent back to them to make into the armrest and seatback cover. They were great to work with. There are some cheaper suppliers for seat covers out there, but I'd buy from MAM anytime.
