I got the May 2008 issue of Corvette Enthusiast in the mail yesterday, and whilst reading it this morning over breakfast, saw the first letter in the "Enthusiast Notes" section that had been titled "Throw-Out the Pilot?!?!?" I thought to myself....."Hmmm....someone else noticed the mistake a couple of issues back where a pilot bearing was called a throwout bearing." That was until I glanced at the letter. It was my letter (I had actuallly gotten an email reply from the editor admitting the mistake a couple days after initially sending it, and thought that was the extent of it). I'm just sitting here chuckling at the fact that they printed it, and the response is pretty good too.
Big whoop right? Cut me some slack, it's the first letter I've ever had printed in a mag.
