Here's some Cray Manta chromies (9.0x18/10.5x19). They look great, but there was an issue with the Tire Pressure Monitors on the rears. The brand-new TPMs I bought from Fred Beans for the front seated and sealed fine, but not the ones on the rear.

TSW, the manufacturer, said the wheel was engineered for newer C5's. Mine's a 98 and the larger TPMs do not seat properly because of a little ledge inside the wheel near the valve stem hole. Every time the tire guys tried to mount the tire, they'd get air leaking out immediately because the seating ring on the TPM was being impeded by this little ledge.

I am trying to contact Todd at East Coast Corvettes, from whom I purchased the wheel, to see what we do next. I had to have the tires mounted without TPMs on the rear.

Default Wheels on red vette

Just got new wheels & tires today. Here a few pics, raining outside, so inside photos. Other work to be done (calipers, drilled & slotted rotors, powder coated brackets) more pics when car is finished.
