Ac Help......
97 38k miles MN6 Dule AC
It was a nice day in Kansas so I put the AC on. No cold AC came out. The AC light flashed and then goes off. I tried it 5-6 times same thing. Ran the codes and 0 HVAC codes. No C codes at all.
I added some long tube headers a wile back and thay were close the the AC line. I put somw heat wrap on it. I did not try the AC aftor the headder install till now.
Make sure your outside temp reading on the display is correct. My sensor went bad last week, displayed 34 even though it was 65 outside. This will keep your A/C from coming on if the readout is 38 or below. No Corvette Tax here as it is used on most late model GMs, sensor was $11 at my local dealer, part# 10248414. About 5 minutes to change it. Hope this helps!

The A/C should come on with an ambient temp of 72 degrees. Maybe you have a low charge in the system. Someone with gauges should be able to read the low and high side pressures to see if you have enough refrigerant.
