Default GM part numbers?

Is there a site you can check out GM part numbers to see if they are still good or give a part number and find out exactly what it is? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Tom you could try the G.M.S.P.O (gm service parts operation) Here is the phone number (1-800-433-6961)there will be some promps when it say are you a gm employe hit the # for yes and listen to the other promps then when you enter part # it will tell you If it is still a good #. Hope this helps you.

You could also try the GMPARTSDIRECT website to check your parts numbers...but, don't order from them.
Order from Gene at GMPARTSHOUSE, a site supporting vendor and a friendly human voice as opposed to GMPARTSDIRECT e-mails only, long delievery waits and high shipping costs.

Try www.gmpartshouse.com. You should be able to enter a part number there and get a description of what it is.
