Hey guys......please help me here what is the differance brtween the green stuff and the red?
I am about to change mine and told my husband to get me some of the red and he said that it is not good to use it insted he got the green.
So is there a differance and dose it matter?

There is a difference. Do not mix the two. A complete and thorough flush including draining the engine block needs to occur. There are different schools of thought pros/cons on the two. There has been much dicussion on this board regarding the topic.

They are chemically incompatible and will create a huge MESS if mixed.
Tell your husband to keep the green and demand he get the red.
Dexcool is recomended by GM and after many years of using it in my Cadillacs I am convinced it is superior to the green.
