I talked to a local dealer about trading my 03 coupe in. It is very clean, white, 6 sp with 20k miles and they said I could probably get around $25,000. He said having both tops makes a difference. Perhaps this will give you some sort of idea. Good luck.
Hard to say without knowing more about your car (options, miles, etc.)
KBB say $14K - $16K and most dealers will try to bone you so figure between $10K and $15K depending on dealer. That would be my guess. They'll never give you what it's worth because they want to make money on the new one and the trade. They will probably make more money on your trade than on the new one. Sell it outright. If it's clean (looks it) and low miles I think you should be able to get at least $20K for it. Just my guess.
Even factoring in the difference in sales tax (if it works that way in your state) I would think you would be way ahead selling yourself.
It won't hurt to drive to a dealer on a nice sunny day and see.
Good luck, and hold on to your wallet.
Thats about what I figured .. 57 k miles on it both tops about 3 to 4 grand into it... but still I probably do better on my own .. thanks for feed back ..and by the way will save on the taxes
