Mine paid for itself in 2 repairs.
But I agree with C_Williams@RPM... read the fine print.
Only surprise I had was... when I got the repair bill, I was told the WD had their own book of what a job should cost (Parts and Labor)... whatever's over what they suggest, you pay. Mine was like $70 of a $700 job, so it was too bad. Overall experience was average... nothing special.
they are very good. The only issue I had with them was the dealer had my car from Nov thru February fixing a tranny leak (under warranty). During that time, there were a couple of other parts that mysteriously broke. My warranty expired at the end of December and warranty direct would not fix the broken parts.
Aside from that odd experience, they have paid for almost every claim. When one of my fob's stopped working, they refused to replace it claiming I had one working unit and "didn't need two".
I have them on 2 vehicles, 03 vette and 2000 explorer, I've submited about $6000 in repairs over the last 2 years and never heard a peep out of WD and never had an inspection for work approval. The service guys say it's the best experience they've had with an aftermarket warranty Co. and they told me that WD pays list on parts, which they LOVE.
