My internet search turned up mid summer, seems to keep getting pushed back. I e-mailed Starr products and have yet to hear back from them. Then again they are on the other side of the world!

Holley was their distributor and we all know where they are heading... so that should give you your answer.

Before I EVER put a fast on my car, it would certainly be smoothed and painted.

Jimbo (zzoomo6) brought up a good point. The manifold will hold a lot of heat because it is aluminum...the Fast is plastic and cools fast.

I think that would change the integrity of the manifold. I would just leave it as is, better than the matte black stock.

How would smoothing and painting change anything? It would look better and still perform.

Im not an engineer that helped design it, so I do not know exactly how it would affect it but it can and I wouldn't risk it.

Smoothing and painting the outside would have nothing to do with its operation at all...

I painted my Mamofied 90/90 FAST intake, and trimmed the fuel rail covers. Plus I gained 25 RWHP over the LS6 intake/ported BBK TB.

I want one too if you are talking about the new Weiand LSX that was at SEMA! I saw the video on it, it looks great! I have sent several emails to Holley asking information about when it will be out but they won't return any of my emails! So where can we get one and who is going to sell them since Holley won't return any emails about carrying the product! It was suppose to be out in March!
