Most people forget that the drone is a side effect of a manly and muscular sound. No drone = no fun. I just swapped my Corsa Indys for Stingers and I love my car again.
Oh, not to mention the Borlas minimize the dreaded motorboat sound.
I did a bit of research a few weeks back so I happen to have a few of these saved.
Stock Ti = 26 lbs
B&B Bullets Quad = 31 lbs (not verified by me)
Borla Stingers Quad = 36 lbs
Stock Base model = 46 lbs
Corsa Indy/Touring = 52 lbs
I'm curious to see how much the 2-tip version of the B&B/Borla weigh. If anyone is looking for a 100% race exhaust, I'd look at the Borla Straights since they are two tip, have no muffler, and connect straight to the mid-pipe with no bends. They claim to be lighter than the Ti.
Mufflers are like a tuning fork for the exhaust - they all resonate, but at a different rpm range. Most (Borla, B&B, Bassani) resonate in the 1500-2000rpm range, which is the cruising range and that irritates most drivers. Corsa has tuned it's resonate point to 2500-3000rpm - which is way beyond where you cruise, and is just about the area that you start to hammer the throttle.
