Default Good tire sealant?

I heard somewhere there is a tire sealant that WON'T wreck tire pressure sensors?
Would like to build up a small emergency kit, figured sealant, compressor, and plug kit?

You can find it on the Tire Rack website, compressor, sealant all in one compact package. Here's the link: http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/...einflation.jsp It's the Continental Tire Comfort Kit.

yea....I checked that kit out before I posted...it claims damage may occur to the TPS when using their sealant...

Have you ever looked at a TPS? You can NOT hurt them with tire sealant.

You may temporarily render them useless, BUT just scrape off the sealant later and you're back in business.

Default no such thing !!!

sensor works with a pinhole to detect pressure, sealant will clog hole, there is no such thing as a good tire sealant as far as tire store guys are concerned( my bro works at one for 20 years) that said, you CAN get a kit with a long strip of rubber that is glue covered and will seal a puncture, without filling the tire with sh*%, It is called a puncture sealant kit, you find the hole( insert joke here) and push the strip in with a tool ,..twist and pull tool out, fill tire with air and drive slowly to get a qualified repair. I bought a complete kit with a small air pump on fleabay , corvette logo and all , fits in glove compt and works great. It was 40bucks I think

Try Wally's place. I recall seeing a small compressor there that plugs in the cig lighter for about $20

That's what's I have, a small compressor/cig lighter compatible and a plug kit. Hoping that will tide me over till a proper fix can be made.

I own the ContiCareKit mentioned above. The sealant is supposed to peel off without damage.
