Zo6 Vs. FRC ?
I'm looking at an FRC and was wondering the differences in the FRC and Zo6. I know the heads/cam and intake, but was wondering if the Tranny in an FRC is close ratio like the Z? Do all Z51's have the zo6 close ratio tranny? any other differences?

No the FRC is basically a hardtop version of the C5. Only the Z06 gets the MN12 tranny. The only commonality between the 99/00 FRC and the Z06 is the hardtop body style. Z51 is just a change in sway bars and springs. Even the Z06 has different suspension from the Z51. I have owned both a 99 FRC and now I have a 03 Z06. Two different beasts for sure.
The engines are completely different also, not just the heads and cam. The Z06 has the LS6 block and the FRC has the LS1 block.
