Window not working- window working
Put car away last fall. Removed battery for storage. Driver side window dead all last summer. Tryed pounding on door and nothing.
Put battery in this spring and started car. Guess what driver window works normal.
Year starting out good.

Its Great When Those Windows Start To Work After Taking Some Time Off. Those Windows Are Funny Arent They.i Have An Intermittent Passgr. Side Problem.ive Had It Go Out For A Couple Of Hours Then Work Normal.they Seem To Do It At Random.alot Of Owners Have This Problem.i Think The Inner Door Gets Moisture Inside,the Next Time You Wash Your Car After You Dry It Off Operate The Both Windows If They Go Down Dry And Come Up Wet You May Have Moisture In The Doors. Im Not Saying This Is The Problem But Ive Noticed This In The Past So Give It A Try. Im Wondering If This Is Normal So Post Back And Let Us Know

My passenger side window started flaking out last year and would intermittently not work. This year, it's been stuck in the up position. Do a search, there is a thread on fixing it via the wire harness. As soon as I get a Saturday with nice weather, I'm going to give that a shot.
Last year, I removed the door panel and tapped on the motor, and it worked like a charm, but I'm hoping the wire harness fix is more permanent.

Well, I've slowly been fixing stuff that was wrong with the car when I bought it a year ago but now I might get to fix something new. My window worked fine this morning but got in the car this afternoon and absolutely nothing. I do hear the clicking noise in the door when I try the switch up or down.
Anybody happen to have link(s) to other threads relating to this? I'm sure I can find additional info via tweaking my search paramaters but if anybody happens to have info already bookmarked I'd gladly accept the link to save search time! Thanks!

My passenger door was stuck in the up position for about a year. I never got around to looking at it. Could hear the clicking, banging on the door did not help, but pressing on while holding the down button fixed it. Been working fine for two years now.
