On the roof stripes, I have noticed some "spotting". Might remind you of dried rain drops, which it isn't, or bubbles under the stripes which it does not appear to be either.
I bought the car 2 payments ago. She had 5100 miles and was garage kept-or so I am told. Aside from these "spots" she is PERFECT in every way!! As the saying goes: She is built for speed AND comfort!!
Any ideas what I am seeing?? Acid rain perhaps? The stripping is smooth to the touch. Is the "finish" on the stripping starting to come off?? But again, smooth to the touch!
She has always been in Northern Virginia.

Thank you y'all.

I don't know much about the Z16 stripes. Are the stripes vinyl or painted on? The [factory original] stripes on my 04 Cavalier are vinyl and in perfect condition (minus a stone chip or two on the hood pieces). My car has been outside all its life, which was all in NY.
I parked mine near a shallow well driven sprinkler system once and got some reall bad waer spots. Clay would not take it off but Adams "Revive Polish" took 'em off just fine.
