Amount of drone and when you get it are related to what type of set up you have. I own an '00 A4 Coupe, with the 2.73 rear gear, and my experience with the GHL Bullets is pretty much the same as described above by 'vetterlatethannever'. I really don't mind the drone, but it's definately there. Wouldn't want to drive it for 100 miles with that much drone, but never have to, since I really don't do much driving @ 60 mph.

What transmission and rear gear do you have? I don't understand how you cannot have some drone if you have the same set up as my '00 Coupe. Especially noticeable @ 1,400 to 1,600 rpm, about 55-65 mph, in that neighborhood anyway.

I am trying to upload one before my blower cam. I had a bigger MTI G1 but the drone was there with either setup, N/A or F/I.

Running Kooks 1-7/8 headers BTW with hi-flow cats.

I don't have any reason to doubt what you're saying, so I guess it must be the difference between the 2.73 and 3.15 rear gear ratios, as that is the only difference between our two cars, because I have drone between 1,400 and 1,600 rpm. Not that it's so bad that I dislike the exhaust, just that I feel like I'd be lying if I said there was no drone at all with this GHL Bullet exhaust system. I do have the 6" cans, if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the info guys, I want to change my catback and ideally I would want to hear it in person before I spend the money but I haven't run into any vetters out here that have something other than stock.

Does anyone have these on an a Z, curious about the drone. I want it to sound loud and mean but don't want the drone, was thinking about these or Pace cars, when I can justify the money anyways.

Oh and sorry about the hi-jack if we are getting off the original topic.

Thanks.
