Default Changing TPS Sensors

Hey guys Im about to put c6 wheels on my 04 and I was wondering how hard it is to change out the tps sensors or if you should just have a tire shop do it? Anyone know anything about this? Thanks guys Chadd

If your going with new wheels, then you should move your TPS over at the same time. You have to break the bead on the tire to get to the sensor inside the tire and that is going require a machine. I suggest you take it to a tire shop. Mark your TPS showing which wheel they come from or you will have to re-train your sensors.

I had a problem with the stock O-ring making a good seal on my after market wheels. The fix was to use a rubber flat washer with a coller instead of the O-ring. The tire shop had them in stock.

No way you'll get the sensors in without a tire machine.

Let the tire shop do it and get new o-rings.
