I saw on a video once that you do that to keep wax out of the cracks and crevices. It is supposed to speed up your clean up time, leaving you less to do after the work is done.
1.- Wash car with Dawn Soap
2.- Clay entire car one section at a time, this is very important so take your time.
3.- Wash car again with Menzerna Auto Shampoo
4.- Menzerna Intensive Polish with Orange Pad and Dewalt 849.
5.- Menzerna Intensive Polish with White Pad and Dewalt 849. (White Pad is less agressive than Orange Pad.)
6.- Menzerna Final Polish with with White Pad and Porter Cable 7424
7.- Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze with Black Pad and Porter Cable 7424
8.- Menzerna FMJ with Red Pad and Porter Cable 7424
For best Results, work under Flourescent lights because they will help you see where you need to spend more time buffing out the deep swirl marks.
I finally bit the bullet last year and invested in a Porter Cable, pads and products (I used a combination of Zaino and Menzerna products) and read everything possible on the internet, so I could do the process myself.
